Ahhh... The Article Directory List

It's no secret that submitting well-written, keyword rich articles to the major article directories is an excellent way to promote your business or product.

Placing online articles is probably the most effective traffic-generating technique available today. If you do it right, it can lead to:

• An increase in targeted traffic
• A rise in newsletter subscribers
• And a boost in sales and profits

The real problem with submitting articles is that it takes a huge amount of time... I mean it can take hours per article if you're doing it manually using the article directory list below.

So what are Your article submission options?

If you want to make writing and placing articles in the directories one of your main internet marketing strategies, then you really have three options for getting the job done.

1. Use the article directory list below and submit your article to each of the article directories one at a time.
   
   This can be an extremely tedious task and can take several hours per article... but it's also very effective. You can be sure that your article made it into each one of the directories exactly the way you want it to appear.
   
   In addition, you'll probably put more time into each one of your articles than if you use the other options because you'll really want each article to count.

2. Use an article submission service or personal assistant to get the job done. It can be very costly to go this route, but your time will be freed up to do other things... like write more articles.
   
   Some article submission services are pretty pricey and only offer limited categories, so be sure what you're buying before you plunge in. One of the best services I've seen so far is Article Marketer... they offer a lot of different categories and unlimited articles for a small yearly fee. If you're planning on writing at least two articles per month, then they are a good choice.

3. Use article submission software to automatically submit your articles. This is the way I usually submit my articles... I'm kind of a control freak and this option lets me actually see each submission and how it will look in the directories.
   
   I've tried a lot of different software programs to accomplish this task and the only one I currently recommend is Article Announcer. They constantly update the software with new directories and the program makes the process as automatic as humanly possible.
