On the previous page, we talked at great length about how to create your own resource box, now here are some examples of great resource boxes that you can add to your own swipe files.
=============================================
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Derek Gehl specializes in teaching real people how to start profitable Internet businesses that make $100,000 to $2.5 Million (or more) per year. To get instant access to all his most profitable marketing campaigns, strategies, tools, and resources that he's used to grow $25 into over $40 Million in online sales, visit: http://www.marketingtips.com/tipsltr.html

The only criticism I can find with the resource box above is that it doesn't use a keyword anchor... which is optional anyway. I also don't think it's necessary to add the "About the Author" part, but that's just my preference.
Otherwise, I think this is a very good resource box. It's got a great 30 second commercial and a definite call to action. This one would be a great addition to your resource box swipe file.

David Ledoux has been involved in the network marketing industry for 15 years. He is an author, speaker and million dollar earner. To discover more jealously-guarded secrets of making $100,000.00 or more every year through MLM check out his new book, The Ultimate MLM Blueprint for Massive Success. The book and a FREE MLM Training ezine are available online at http://www.ilovemlm.com

This is a pretty good resource box, but it lacks a call to action... there is no "click here" type of message. He hints around at it and offers incentive, but fails to actually ask for the click.
You should also note that it's normally not necessary to include the bit about being involved in MLM for 15 years... but for MLM that's a good message that he's not a fly by nighter. In other industries, putting your length of time in the industry isn't necessary. Make a note in your resource box swipe file.

This is a great example to add to your resource box swipe file... It has a dynamic 30 second commercial, answers "what's in it for me", and has a call to action.

Again... No call to action! I like this resource box because they've broken it up a little more with their spacing to make it more readable. This is a good strategies if your elevator speach needs a very slow elevator. Also makes a good note for your resource box swipe file.

Again, there's not a clear call to action or "click here" in this example, but I think it still works really well because of the strong language of the message and the "Find out how" before the link. I think this one is a clear winner too and should find a place in your resource box swipe file.

This one is short and to the point. You may have noticed that the 30 second commercial is mostly the title of the ebook... Now that's a good title (maybe you should add it to your headline swipe file?). This is a really great example for your resource box swipe file because it shows you how to make your box pack a punch in a few words.

Yanik Silver is recognized as the leading expert on creating automatic, moneymaking websites...and he still doesn't know how to put up a website.
He is the author, co-author or creator of several best-selling online marketing books and tools, including his
newest resource for online copywriting - http://www.UltimateCopywritingWorkshop.com
==========================================================
Yanik is very good at writing copy -- just subscribe to one of his newsletters and you'll get a whole lot of ideas for your swipe files. In the resource box above, I think he's trying to appeal to the aspiring entrepreneurs who are just getting started... see how he makes mention of not knowing how to put up a website? He establishes credibility by listing some of the general subjects that he's been involved in.... It works because he is already an established expert. You may not be able to do the same thing in your industry and make is an effective resource box.
Do you have a great resource box that you think should be included in the resource box swipe file above? If you do, let me know and maybe we'll add it.
Best Wishes,
